JVZoo

Right now the people at JVZoo are working frantically to make their platform the best in the industry. And I must admit, they are doing a pretty good job.

The biggest news is that they just released a a paid referral program for all members of their platform. So you will get paid every time your referrals make an affiliate sale. What does that mean exactly?

Everyone that has an account at JVZoo will get a private referral link of their own. So say you tell your friend Ozzy about JVZoo and all of the wonderful things it can do for you. So Ozzy signs up and gets his own JVZoo account and link.

Then he sees all of the awesome information products he can promote as an affiliate and decides to begin promoting some of them. Now each time he makes a sale, you get ten cents.

No, it isn’t a fortune. But if you have a few people and they are doing the same as Ozzy, you could make a few hundred each month for doing absolutely nothing. Not bad in my book:)

and each time the sale is made, you get your dime instantly. Just like your affiliate commissions when you use JVZoo. No waiting like ClickBank or any other program. Instant straight to your PayPal account.

That is why I believe tens of thousands of people will use JVZoo in the future to promote their information products and find affiliates.

JVZoo‘s platform is so much better than any other platform I have seen. Why is it so great? Just like I said, instant deposit of all commissions made as an affiliate.

As a product creator, you can split your sales with the affiliate and 2 or even 3 other partners all automatically. The payment is automatically split so that you never have to touch any money or make any payments at all.

And to list a product can even be free! There are two ways you can list. One is a flat fee like other programs, and one is a percentage. So you don’t need to pay anything to use JVZoo at all. And if your product never sells, then you loose nothing but the time it took to put your product on JVZoo.

But I think as a product creator or as an affiliate, there really is no better platform to begin using than JVZoo. And as far as the ten cent affiliate program, ClickBank did the exact same program when they first launched and those that took advantage are still making money with it today.

Hi, I heard that JVZoo is good if you’re selling an internet marketing product but maybe not so good for others. Is that true? My product helps people overcome a social anxiety disorder known as ‘shy bladder’, would JVZoo be a good platform for a product of this kind?

    • bill says:

Sure. The reason is, you aren’t so much looking for customers to go to JVZoo and buy your product. It doesn’t really work that way.

Rather, you want affiliates that own ranking keywords like “shy bladder” to see your product, become an affiliate and do the sales for you. That’s what basic affiliate marketing is. It’s a way to get your product onto sites that can make sales, which means getting webmasters with sites in your niche to place your banner ad on their websites. But you can only get an affiliate to sell for you if you pay them.

If I own “shybladderhelp.com” I probably want to make a few bucks some how with my website. So I either use Adsense, affiliate marketing or a mix of both. But for me as an affiliate marketer, I don’t want to spend all day long looking for appropriate products using Google. So I will go somewhere like JVZoo or ClickBank and search through there. And I trust these site a lot more than I trust you. I know if I use JVzoo or CB, I will get paid by them, not you. So I don’t even need to know who you are, just that your sales page will convert my traffic into sales.

      Hope that helps.

I like what JVzoo is doing, but I don’t think they’re quite ready to take on CB yet.
I’ve recently tried to purchase a couple of products being sold through JVZoo – one around the $500 mark.
Problem – they only accept PayPal (I work in a non-PP country, so I can’t use PP). So, those vendors missed out on sales.
As a vendor, I sell through Avangate and CB – they offer lots of payment options. I would be hesitant to use JV Zoo (esp for high ticket items). I make a lot of sales from people in non-PP countries (Avangate offers bank transfer payments and I actually make quite a lot of sales because of this payment option).
I think that the more payment options you give your customers, the greater your potential for sales – I’d hate to miss out on sales because my customer wanted to pay me but couldn’t use PP.
I also have a fantastic affiliate in a non PP country – if I only offered my affiliates payments by PP, I could also be missing out there.
Also, I think the JVZoo name could be off-putting for customers outside the IM industry. The “zoo” part bothers me a bit – a lot of potential customers are worried about making online transactions, etc and I guess I don’t see this name as sounding like a serious payment-provider type of name.

      Hi Elsie,

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! Yes, I agree that the more payment options you can give a potential customer the better. Nice tip on using Avantage for their wire transfer option. I didn’t know that!

I also agree that the name is really not the best. Not only does it not sound very professional, but it also seems to limit them. Meaning, I think a more generic brand name would have allowed them to be more of a product listing site as well as an affiliate platform. But with the “JV” in JVzoo, it really limits the potential to broaden their services.

But I guess they had their reasons?
