Can you really find expiring domains that are already ranking in the SERPs, know what keywords the domains are ranking for, buy them, set up a site and be making money ASAP? I know this sounds a bit “salesy”, but it is possible. Domain Espionage is a web based software program that go through sites like GoDaddy Auctions and others and searches for expiring domains you can bid on that are currently ranking for any number of keywords.

The program will tell you how many keywords the URL is ranking for, where it is being auctioned, exact searches, how old the domain is, CPC for AdSense and it even gives you the exact URL of the top 50 ranking keywords so you can see the titles and URLs of the ranking keywords. Plus a host of other useful information. And unlike most other software, all of the follow up research can be done without ever leaving DE. A serious time saver!

This program will even do backlink research for up to 1’000 of the sites backlinks giving you the URL of the backlink, PR, you name it. Everything you’d need to know to make a very well informed buying decision using DMOZ information and SEMRush.

If you want to start a site with links, rankings and traffic already included, this software is great. And right now, there is nothing else like it on the market. Just imagine how much cash you could make on Flippa. You find a domain that is already ranking, has traffic and buy the domain. Build a website and write some content using the old post titles so you continue to keep the links and the rankings, then flip it.

How long would it take to do the same thing with a new domain? And although the software costs $39 a month, if you just flipped one site with an aged domain and rankings, you should be able to make a few hundred dollars per flip easily, and most likely more. This software makes that so easy to do! There is even a full use 3 day trial you can get for $4.95. So you can be sure this is something for you.

Or you can just keep the domain and monetize it and continue to rank more keywords. The sky really is the limit here. And there is so much data given about each domain that I really can’t do this tool justice on this post.

Check out these screen shots to see what you can find…

This is a keyword laden URL that was selling at GoDaddy autions cheaply that was already ranking for a lot of different keywords.

Like I mentioned earlier in this post, there is a trial, so why not at least check it out. I am 100% sure you will be impressed. I sure was. Here’s the link again, let me know what you think!

CTR Max WordPress Plugin is a post from: High PR Network

CTR Max WordPress plugin serves up an ad and places it right in front of your visitors eyes depending on their search term. Wouldn’t it be amazing if someone landed on our website and found a product matching their exact search term starring them in the face when they got there? How well do you think your conversions would be? I’d bet a heck of a lot better then they are now! And if you are using WordPress, you can do just that. Quickly, easily and cheaply.

Dynamic product insertions allow you to show your visitors the exact products they were searching for, even if they land on your general product listings page. – from the sales page

I just picked up a really great plugin that is really going to be helping me with my conversions. Especially my Amazon and Commission Junction commissions. What it does is, it gives the visitor to your site a relevant ad that is placed on the landing page above the fold for the keyword they found your site for. It doesn’t matter what the title of the post is, it only matters what the keyword phrase the visitor used to reach your website.

For example, if I have a website about headphones and if a user comes to my site looking specifically for Skullcandy G.I. S6GIBXWG Gaming Headphones with Mic for Xbox White/Green, they may end up on another page for s similar product, but not that product. Usually when this happens the user will just leave and look for the next site. This increases your bounce rate. Don’t let this happen!

Rather, when they land on any page on my site, the first few things they see are advertisements from eBay, Amazon, Comission Junction, LinkShare and Overstock specifically for Skullcandy G.I. S6GIBXWG Gaming Headphones with Mic for Xbox White/Green.

In fact, if it is Amazon you are using like my site, that very ad shows up so there is no reason at all for my visitor to click off of my website. It’s front and center and clearly visible with the search term they typed to make them feel all warm and fuzzy that they are really on the right page.

And you are also able to set a default keyword in case they type in your URL or get to your site some other random way that doesn’t include a search engine search term. You can also create your own offers for any keywords as well. So for example if you had an information product for traffic, when someone use a traffic term to find your site, you own product would show. Very handy!

Not only that, say you are ranking for an obscure tag you placed on one of your WordPress posts. And you can see that you are indeed getting traffic for that term. But of course when people land on the page that isn’t specifically what they see. What do you do?

http://clickmenow.info/CTRplugin

Usually you create a new page right? One with the term you are getting traffic for. But with this plugin, you don’t need to do anything at all. The Max plugin gives the visitor the exact ads they are looking for above the fold. So no need to create additional pages if you are already ranking for a term.

Think about how profitable that can be for all of your long tail keywords. You should be able to create more revenue off of them without doing any extra work at all. Just by using this plugin. The developer is counting on it.

http://clickmenow.info/CTRplugin is giving a 60 day money back guarantee on this that states if you don’t get an immediate increase in your CTR rate on your affiliate commissions, he’ll refund your money no questions asked. So that means no risk at all. It also sounds like he’s pretty sure of his product. And after using it, I can see why!

As I am writing this, the plugin is selling for $17. That’s for use on all of your sites. There is also a developer’s license for $37. So you can use it on your clients sites and sites you flip or sell. This is really cheap and I doubt it’ll be this cheap for much longer. Good luck!

“I use the rank tracker plugin to show me other keywords that people use to find my site(s) and always tell me myself, “I need to build a page around that keyword and put some products on there”. This just saved me a sh%t load of time I don’t have and now I’m wondering how I can use this for local searches “ – a comment from someone on the plugin

One thing to mention, at the time of this writing I had tried this on a Catalyst theme website and had a bad problem. It seems there is a small incompatability with the Catalyst Theme. One the other 25 sites I tried it on, there were no other problems. In fact, it works amazingly well. I have already sent a support ticket into the developers. We will see what happens.

Just an update, Todd fixed this and this plugin rocks now! Excellent!

I just bought a WSO I just couldn’t pass up. It was created by E. Brian Rose. In his headline he states how this WSO is going to be very controversial. And he wasn’t kidding! I think a lot of developers are going to be a bit pissed with this.

Basically it is a very short report on GPL law and how to use it for your extreme advantage. What it basically says is that you can ‘rip off’ anything on wrodpress.org and resell it. He backs up all of this and I think this WSO is really going to open some flood gates.

There are also links to around 70 themes that you can begin pilfering right of the bat. It isn’t as clear as I’d like. I’d like a bit more specifics as to exactly which parts of the themes he listed are usable.

It will be interesting what happens now. Do developers pull their themes off of WordPress? Will everyone just copy everyone else for now on? Lots of questions. But a great thought provoking read. If selling themes or plugins aren’t your thing, then skip this. But if you are planning on selling themes, plugins or are looking for a product of your own to sell, then grab this.

One thing to note, in order to read your PDF you’ll need to download what is an .exe file. It is some kind of file that is supposed to protect the PDF from people sharing and hot linking, etc… I had a problem with it and needed support. But all was taken care of quickly enough.

Here is the link to E. Brian Rose’s product. After you read it, give me some feedback on how you think this might change things for the better or worse?

Backup Creator by Robert Plank

I was just really lucky and purchased a great new plugin that backs up your WordPress websites. It’s called Backup Creator and it was created by Internet Marketer Robert Plank. And it couldn’t have come at a better time for me.

I was looking into backup options and found they are either messy, technical and/or expensive. So when I saw one for $7, I bought before reading anything. It was worth risking seven bucks to me.

And since then, a few hours ago, I have downloaded and played with this thing. And all I can say is AWESOME! Soooo easy! It is a WordPress plugin. You load it to your site like any other plugin. Nothing special or out of the ordinary at all.

Once you’ve placedt the Backup Creator plugin on your blog, click one button and you are done. It backs up everything including your database, settings, links, what ever in just a few seconds. Then you can save a copy of your entire website to your desktop with just one click. So now if your server goes kaput, no worries. You have everything you need. How can it possibly be easier?!

To transfer a blog to a new server or where ever you want, just install a new, fresh WordPress installation and add the plugin you saved. One click and presto, you carbon copy blog is now active. It really is that easy! This plugin is amazing. Hats off to Mr. Robert Plank for this one.

Here is how I plan to use the Backup Creator plugin. I have a lot of AdSense and affiliate sites with a lot of premium themes, plugins and what have you. Now I can make one ‘template blog’, and use that every time i create a new site. No more uploading all of the plugins, themes, etc…it’s all done for me.

I know this is hypey, and I apologize. I just haven’t seen this kind of value soooo cheap in a very long time. One time payment of $7 right now. Then it’ll go up to $17. Still a steal at either price. Most of the backup software I was looking into were $90+.

The closest thing I saw to this was Jason Fladlien’s WP Twin. This is better! And btw, I wonder how Jason feels about all of this as Robert Plank is his mentor. Interesting

Here are a few tidbits from the website:

Instant Backup

Just click one button and your backup is automatically created and shipped to the secure destination of your choice

Our proprietary Clone-It technology ensures that you can quickly and easily deploy unlimited number of client sites pre-configured in just seconds

Restore Anywhere

Instantly restore your website or WordPress blog to any destination you like

Protect Yourself

Whether you have a blog that you use to keep your family updated on your latest vacation, operate a successful online store or create websites for other people you will feel better knowing that your blogs, websites and templates are just a single-click away

If someone thinks they can recommend something better, please let me know. But you’ve gotta check this baby out…here is a link to the WF thread.

If you are serious about getting traffic to your website, then you really need to be learning traffic techniques from some one that actually uses the techniques they teach. And more, can actually prove not only that the product works, but how they have profited from the use of the product! How? How about by showing you their $10’000’000 a year business. Yeah, ten million dollars.

I got hooked on James Schramko on the earn1kaday forum that we both belong to. From time to time he’d post something and it was obvious when he posted something, people took it pretty seriously. Why? Ten million reasons why. And yes, the money is half of why I follow James now.

One day he posted a short reply to a thread that really made me sit down and think. He wrote, ‘If you want to be a millionaire, you need to follow a millionaire. These little WSOs are not the answer.’

Maybe it was the timing, mindset, whatever, it got me really thinking. And I realized he was dead on. I do want to be a millionaire, multi I am hoping. Yet most of the people I was following were ‘gurus‘ telling me some secret they had for ten bucks. Sometimes I felt is was more like a shady drug deal than a sale for an informational product.

Traffic Grab was the first product I invested in from James Schramko. There were a few things that were different right from the start with his whole sales process. First off, there were no annoying pop ups when you tried to leave the sales page. There was no second chance offer, no cheaper discount links. Not even a long sales page. In fact, there isn’t a sales page! Just video.

Then James gives away for free, not even an optin required, the first 3 chapters of the course. And no, they are not junk chapters. Just watching the first 3 free videos should help you with something! Check them out here. Or download and read the 81 page PDF. Again, totally free. Get it here.

But what really surprised me was the price. It’s only $77. That’s it. One time fee. I really was expecting 200+. But no. I was pleasantly surprised. So after purchasing and feeling my anus was still entirely intact, I dug right into the course. And again, I was pleased with what was included. And I am not just saying that. There is so much great information here.

I like to think I know a lot about SEO, but there was still a lot I hadn’t tried in this product. So if you are less than a year into SEO, the amount of information found in this product will literally shave years off of your learning curve! Real information presented to you by someone who uses these very techniques to run a 10 million dollar a year business. Who could you possible feel is better qualified to teach you this stuff? And at $77? That price s a joke!

So what’s in Traffic Grab? Here is a page from the PDF…

6 Phases to Traffic Grab

Traffic is only one part of the success and profitable online campaigns. Let’s give you the foundation to get the most from this course. The first three modules are absolutely free:

Research – is the key to knowing your target audience and what content to prepare for them.

Content – many traffic sources especially Facebook and Google are keen to offer a high value experience to customers so they love great content. There are several types of content we will use to attract the best traffic and many things you should know about sourcing and preparing it the right way.

Site – the website you have can be designed to get more traffic and also to do more when that traffic arrives.

There are also three paid modules. This place is the valuable stuff that I’m teaching including benefits that far exceed the investment.

Traffic – the traffic module alone is the biggest module in the course. And I will be taking you through real example sites.

Conversions – If you can convert traffic into a list or a sale then improving conversions has exactly the same effect as getting more traffic. It seems a shame for me to teach you traffic to lay/leave my conversion boosters alone. So I included this very important module that is a product in itself. Importantly when you can convert traffic and measure, this actually opens up the paid traffic as an option. Some people are obsessed with free traffic which is crazy when you consider that if you could make $2 by investing $1 why don’t you ramp things up a little? This just tells me they don’t really understand traffic. Today you’ll discover how to do this.

Leverage – this is where we hit the boost button and take everything we’ve learned and look for the optimization hacks. I have a really a strong background in strategy and innovation. So you’ll see exactly how you may add a zero to your bottom line over and over again.

Now to show you of some proof that I know what I’m talking about because one of the biggest problems with courses is they offer you a theory often written by some little kid in his dormitory room overseas with no evidence or proof that it actually works and a surprising number of gurus got their start by lying about their results.

Now if you dig deeper behind many of the popular hyped up process sales you might even find some truth to the rumors that income screenshots have often being faked. Now I’m about to show you real shots.

Many of them you can verify in Google yourself so you know I’m sticking with my core value of teaching real information that has worked well for me.

Now this is all taken straight from the PDF that is freely down-loadable from here. It’s just to give you an idea.

So does it work? Well, chances are if you found me, then yep, it does. Looking at my Awstats since I started implementing some of the stuff I learned in Traffic Grab, my traffic has been steadily trending up. And to look at the stats is quite a nice feeling.

So if you have a site that you believe should be getting more traffic, there is simply no better product that I am aware of on the market today. And definitely not at this price! So at least go and look at the first 3 free videos! Then download the free 80 page PDF and see what is included in the course. You have nothing to loose and a lot to gain.

Oh, yeah…what’s the bonus I am giving away if you buy Traffic Grab through my link? The one thing about traffic, as far as ranking your site highly in Google for more free traffic, that wasn’t really fleshed out in Traffic Grab was, the creation and use of high PR private networks in building traffic. So that is my bonus. I think of it as STEP 25 on the Spaghetti Bowl Map. (You’ll understand what that means once you go watch the videos or buy the course.)

You’ll get my product High PR Bacon, totally free if you purchase through my affiliate link and let me know. It is a product that teaches you step by step how to build your own high PR networks.

And since I am already using the Traffic Grab system to drive traffic to my websites, please feel free to ask me any questions you might have. I’ll answer if I can. Or better yet, join James’ forum for free as his bonus and ask him directly!

So, once you’ve either bought Traffic Grab or even if you decided against it, leave some feedback and tell me why you went either way.

And if you bought, let’s share some strategies to get more traffic!

SEO Link Machine by Bryan Zimmerman is a post from: High PR Network

Well, here is another great idea that just still hasn’t quite matured. And I am starting to wonder if it ever will. If you didn’t hear about SEO Link Machine, it is basically a private blog network like BuildMyRank, but without the PR or the troublesome one post per blog requirements. If you don’t know what any of that means, I’ll be a bit more informative.

If you’ve read my post about building a high PR blog network, then you’ll understand why you want links to your site, contextual links, that come from an assortment of class C IP addresses. Now if each of those links have PR (PR=Page Rank), then your site will rank in the SERPs even quicker. (SERP = Search Engine Results/Rankings Page)

Now to get a lot of great links that stick/are counted is difficult actually. So different private networks have sprung up to help people get quality links quickly and easily, for a price of course. And that’s fair enough. And some networks do a great job. Others not so good. Regrettably, SEO Link Machine is one of those that aren’t doing well. At least at the moment. But I am really rooting for Bryan, because his concept is great for the users of his network.

Here’s the idea behind SEO Link Machine. When I last asked Bryan he said the network had over 900 blogs on it. “Right now there are 890, but I plan on adding another 200 or more in the next couple weeks. If I get enough people that want to play, I’ll crank it up to 2K or more.”

So that means you can get 900 links x 3 different links per post. You can put up to 3 links in each of your posts. That equals 2’700 links! And the great part is your links are contextual, meaning they are in the actual post itself with your keywords as the link and relevant information surrounding the link. This is great SEO.

The keywords are added using short codes like %link1% and %link2%. Everything can be spun. Everything including the post, title, everything. So all you need to do is place one post in spun syntax on your account and you can generate up to 2’400 links! Awesome! And the page where you place your post is really simple and laid out intuitively. At least for me I felt is was extremely easy to understand what I needed to do.

Also, there aren’t any other ads, AdSense or anything else to disturb the blogs ‘link juice’. He uses good SEO as far as setting up the blogs. They’re all on different class C IPs, they have different themes, etc… The network is simple and easy to use. A really big plus. Here is a section from his sales page…

‘…Just on the other side of this page lies the pot of gold, the buried treasure, the holy grail or what ever terminology you want to use when it comes to link building. Over 800 privately owned sites, all on over 750 IP’s that were built for nothing other than putting content on them for backlinks. Think about that for second…

Can You Imagine Getting THOUSANDS of GUARANTEED Backlinks To Your Site With The Push Of A Button?

Understand that these aren’t like other links that may drop off or get deleted. Many link building services use things like Xrumer and Scrapebox to get your links. Nothing wrong with either one as we use them both, but those links can get deleted or just disappear. NOTHING compares to links on pages that are owned by the service themselves. This way you have ZERO chance of losing your links,ZERO chance of hurting your rankings and a 100% chance of getting the links you need to your site.

Now, just because the network is built, that doesn’t mean that I am anywhere near done with it. I will be constantly adding backlinks to the sites themselves as well as adding more sites to the network. I can’t even imagine what that’s going to be like for rankings once I’m done. This is literally a private playground!…’

It seemed like the answer to all of my linking problems, so I joined as soon as I read the sales page. But like I said, that is the idea, but sadly, not the reality. At least not yet. Bryan’s network simply doesn’t work at the moment. How do I know for sure? Well, I placed a site with no backlinks and only used SEO link machine for linking. After a few weeks absolutely nothing happened, at all.

During this time, to his credit, Bryan added a way to see which sites your content had been placed was. The problem was, you still can’t see your actual link. So that means you can’t place your link into an indexing network or build links to it. A major downer. And if you really do want to find your link on a site, good luck! There are tons of posts.

And when I started to physically check my links, what I found were hundreds of posts posted on blogs that were not even indexed at all. The site wasn’t indexed! Meaning Goggle, or no other search engine, person, spider, bot, etc…knew that the blog even existed. And the more I looked into this, the more I found. And there were even a few cases where the link was dead, no website was there at all. Nadda.

I waited a little longer for any movement from my one site, but nothing ended up happening. I have spot checked from time to time and again, non-indexed sites, sites that are down, and sites with so much content on them, it will be impossible to have all of those posts spidered.

So would I recommend this to anyone? Definitely not. In the future? Maybe, we need to see what happens. The very first thing Bryan needs to do, two things actually, is to create a way that all posts get indexed. This is one of BuildMyRank‘s biggest strengths. Everything gets indexed.

Please understand people, if it isn’t indexed, it doesn’t count. It was a waste of your time and resources. That’s why I use BLE. And you should too! And so should SEO Link Machine.

The second problem, and the one I’d personally fix first is, have a way for me to see the link where my post is. And be able to download a spreadsheet of those links. When ever I build links I always place them in my BLE network so I am sure they are indexed and given a little extra sap. This helps me, but it also helps the site that the link is on.

So by allowing people access to their links, the network as a whole should have more juice as some people will either work on indexing all of their links, build links to those links if they are powerful enough or both. That’s good for the network.

So with just those two changes, I’d say that Bryan would be on his way to a much better product for the consumer. And if those two ideas are implemented, I’d try out SEO Link Machine for the second time. There are a few other things I’d like to see as well. But just these two would be a fantastic re-start. So how about it Bryan? Any plans for these?

Until then, still in the number one slot is BuildMyRank. But I am always on the lookout for more link building ideas. So if you know of a new start up, give me a shout and I’ll check it out.

If you have been to any of the other Internet marketing forums like Warrior Forum, you know as a newbie, the forums can be quite cold. In fact, I’ve seen some people be down right mean. And that’s too bad. Seriously!

I got really lucky. One day I was on WF and I was reading a thread about a forum and all the great things people were learning and doing on it. Every single person had something positive to say about this forum. Not ONE negative reply. I thought this was impossible, so I had to check the forum out. The name of the forum is earn1kaday.net.

I did a lot more research – yes, I am a research junkie, and you should be too! – and again, more than 95% of all comments and reviews of the forum were good to great. And the things a lot of people kept saying were comments like…”it is like a family.” “I felt like I had made a bunch of new friends.” “It is like home.”

As a newer IM’er, these sorts of comments were really inviting to me. I was getting tried of being bashed and ridiculed for asking ‘dumb’ questions. I still firmly believe the only dumb question is the one not asked. But, anyway, the one thing that put me off was the price. It costs $39.95 a month.

I thought people were absolutely crazy to be paying that kind of money for a forum. As far as I was concerned, forums were supposed to be free. And although there are sometimes lifetime buy offers around $400, at the time this was still too rich for my blood. So I put it off for a while. Simply put, I didn’t yet recognize how powerful a forum could be.

Earn 1k a Day Forum

One day I received an email from Dennis Becker, the owner of the forum, for a free trial. I think I purchased one of his WSOs or something. I felt I had waited as long as I wanted to, so I took the plunge and took the free trial. And I must admit, now I totally understand why there are so many positive comments about this forum. I really was like joining a family of highly successful people that were actually willing to help you, for free! Well, almost.

I realize I stumbled onto a gem. One of my first questions was a technical question about placing a link in my profile. The forum uses bb code, so I wasn’t familiar with it. Instantly I received something like 10 replies. And guess what? Every reply was helpful and polite, I didn’t get ripped even once, and I think I made a new friend or two. I really couldn’t believe it.

Since then, I am sure I have asked a million other dumb questions. What is great is that if I don’t know about something, I can ask in the private forum and then write about it on my blog and look like a super star! But that is just the beginning. Being part of earn1kaday is literally a gold mine. Why?

There are a few great reasons. I will start off with the most important one. Connections! Those big names in IM you always hear about? A lot of them are part of the forum. And what is really amazing is, you can ask the questions and they will actually answer you!

One IM’er in particular that I really like to follow is James Schramko. If you haven’t heard of him, you really need to. He grosses 10 million plus in IM per year! I’ve asked him a few questions through PM, and he answered them all. And it is not just him, lots of big names and professionals I am sure you have heard of. You just can’t get this kind of one on one on any kind of public forum. In fact, there aren’t too many places I know of that you can something like this in any circumstances.

But it goes beyond just getting connection for help. You can also find JV partnerships. Find friends, partners and accountability partners to help you with ideas and get help with technical questions. And the downloads, I forgot about the download section. This is where Dennis buys different rights to WSOs and puts them in the forum for us to freely use.

There are some great products that I would have purchased individually if they had not been on the forum for free. There are currently over 500 free products to download that you can use for yourself, your clients, list building, product creation, etc…the sky’s the limit on what you can do with this stuff!

I figure the downloads, and me not needing to buy all of the individual WSOs each month more than makes up for the monthly cost. The simple fact is, being a fee based forum is a great strength. It weeds out the people that simply aren’t as committed as the earn1kaday members are.

So when you meet a new member on the forum, you know they are also there because they are willing to invest in their future and take the time and money to reach the next level. The people on the forum are simply a different level and caliber of people. And most want to help as much as get help. There is a fantastic level of give and take on earn1kaday unlike the normal take and take that is so prevalent on other forums.

So imagine how being surrounded by people that are either very successful, on their way to being successful, or are even just starting out but are serious enough to pay for something that can really help them reach their goals would be. Imagine how powerful being surrounded by these types of people can be in stimulating your drive, ideas, passion about Internet Marketing. Believe me, it can really help your motivation levels. Especially when you are just starting out.

But as with anything, there are a few drawbacks. I personally love AdSense. But the owner Dennis Becker hates it. He lost a very profitable AdSense account some years back apparently through no fault of his own, so now he usually dismisses anything AdSense.

To be honest, I do not agree at all with his take on AdSense, but it is his forum. So I’d say if AdSense is your primary focus, then earn1kaday may not be for you. But to be fair as well, he has purchased a few AdSense related products, which really surprised me.

But if you want to know more about creating your own products, affiliate marketing, SEO, Niche site creation, article marketing and almost every other form of making money on the internet other than AdSense, then the forum is the only place to be. Even now I still feel joining this forum has been the most beneficial thing I could have done to take my IM business to the next level.

And I hope you too decide to take the plunge. Click on this link here for earn1kaday and you’ll get a 10 day trial period for $2.95. It’s a great offer as you have 100% access to everything I have written about above for free so that you can see for yourself if the forum is a perfect fit for you. And if it isn’t, let us know here on StreetBacon.com where you do end up. I’m always on the lookout for great places to meet great people and learn new things like Earn 1k a Day.

WPSubscribers List Building Plugin Review is a post from: High PR Network

Okay, so I am the last to really understand how important it is to build a list. What can I say? I can be slow sometimes. But I can get lucky and have a moment of intelligence, too. And right now I am feeling pretty good with myself. And yes, I finally get the importance of email marketing.

Since the past 2 or three reviews have all been negative, I thought I’d try a positive review this time. And right now I am reviewing a WordPress plug-in that helps you build your client list. And wow, is this thing powerful!

If you haven’t heard about it yet, you will. The plug-in is called WPSubscribers. And this thing does it all. I won’t go into every detail, just take a look at their site for all of the specifics.

I looked at a few different solutions for building a list. I wasn’t in a hurry so I took my time to really find the right solution for StreetBacon.com. I was pretty sold on one product when someone mentioned this as a product that was looking like it would crush everything else.

Luckily I hadn’t purchased anything and took a look at the sales page. To be very honest, the sales page does not do this thing justice! If you look at the sales page, please understand that the actual plug-in is far more amazing than what the page makes it out to be. Really, the plug-in rocks!

If you are on StreetBacon.com, then you’ve already seen the popup offering my free report. That is what I am talking about here. But not only does this plugin create unblockable pop ups, it can put an opt-in form anywhere on your site. And I mean anywhere! The header, footer, in a post, exit pop up, etc…

And you can control everything. How often people see the pop up, what pages specifically to show it, how long, after how long on a page, after reading how many pages, etc…

And there is analytics so you can measure everything. How many times a pop up was produced, how many people actually opted in. Really great informaton to see if your offer is as good as you think it is:)

Right now there are 11 different templates and 8 different colors. It uses a WYSIWYG editor, so you can do anything with it like adding images, bullet points, etc… You can also just use HTML as well. I am just starting, so my opt in form is looking boring to say the least. But I will try to make it look better.

There is even a built in referral program for your list! This is so cool. (I am not talking about an affiliate program for the software itself, although there is one) You can give people a link so that they can get their friends to sign up. If their friends do, they get credits. You can do what ever you want with the credits. So for example:

Say I want to have a promotion for my site. I can say something like, who ever gets the most sign ups for StreetBacon can win a new iPad, or what ever you want to give away. The plug-in keeps track of all of your ‘affiliates’ and gives them a credit for each referral they get. So all you need to do is announce the winner! Cool, yeah? I sure think it is.

This is from the plug-in on my site:

<colgroup>
<col width="661" /></colgroup>

WPSubscribers plug-in now can grow your list virally! How? By giving your subscribers referral points, thus encouraging them to have others sign up for you list, too. Here’s how it works:

<colgroup>
<col width="244" />
<col width="194" />
<col width="214" /></colgroup>

1. A visitor subscribes to your email list through your WPSubscribers opt-in form.

2. They will receive an email about your referral program, and be given a referral link. They then share that referral link with their friends.

3. Their friends sign up, they get referral points that they can turn in for discounts, coupons, or other goodies — whatever you like — And your list grows like weeds!

Then there’s Facebook opt-in. I’m not going to get into to it too much because I haven’t implemented it yet so I don’t really know what I am talking about enough to give you info on this. But it looks a little complicated if you are not familiar with Facebook’s API system. If you are, then it should be a breeze.

This will allow you to use Facebook in order to build your email list! And since a ton of people are already using Facebook, they will more than likely feel more comfortable just clicking on the Facebook ‘get instant access’ button rather than opting into yet another list. A lot less friction! And let’s face it, facebook is the new big thing. Like it or not. So you might as well dive head first into it and have the option right from the start.

In closing, like I said, the WPSubscribers plugin came at the perfect time for me. I had just finished really looking hard for the best list building solutions I could find. It was also lucky timing that I was introduced to this plugin even before it was publicly launched. So I got to see the owner deal with a lot of people’s questions and uncertainty. And I can honestly say that not only do I think the product is first class, but also the creator of the product, Jenni. So take a serious look at WPSubscribers. I think you’ll agree that it’s the most complete solution for all your list building needs.

Speaking of optins, if you haven’t already, take the plunge now!

Rewrite Rocket by Jason Potash Review is a post from: High PR Network

Rewrite Rocket Review

3/21/2011

Today I bought the Rewrite Rocket from Jason Potash with high hopes and expectations. Why did I choose Rewrite Rocket and not different article spinning software like The Best Article Spinner? As far as The Best Article Spinner goes, there were two reasons.

First, I couldn’t pay for it. I don’t have a Paypal account and can’t get one due to an obscure unique reason. Regardless, they only have the Paypal option due to The Best Article Spinner being an annual payment, which brings me to the second reason. Rewrite Rocket is a one time fee. That’s it. And for me, when ever there are comparable products and one of the products is a one time fee, I’ll always choose the one time fee. It makes better business sense. So a great article spinning software that I can use for article marketing would be really helpful. Plus the one time fee is way better than using any article writing service or article submission service.

Also, I am looking for something to rewrite my articles in such a way so that I can actually use them in 5 or so other places and they are all humanly readable and unique enough for the search engines. So no matter what spinner I use, I’ll need to do some manual adjusting of the articles as well. But I want to use the spinner as a base to begin with.

So on to the review…

I initially saw the product spoken about on a forum or somewhere, can’t remember exactly now. Anyway, I tried to do some research and there really isn’t much out there on this product. I guess now I know why…

So I ended up on the sales page at Rewrite Rocket.com and watched Jason’s video. On the video he shows an article he has placed inside the software and then shows how to rewrite it at the click of a button. The video shows that the article is more than 50% unique and written very well. He just needed to add in one verb. I was really impressed and excited with all of the things I could do with that automatic rewrite button. There was even a review that states how this product is better than The Best Spinner.

Next I clicked on the Add to Cart button and took out my credit card. I bought the software and was taken to the payment page. After you pay for the program, you need to look to your left in the center of the page for a link back to the website, it’s in link blue. It is there written in link blue, but it’s small.

Once you figured out how to get back, there is a link to download your new software. That went off with out a hitch. But on the same page there are supposed to be your two passwords for the program and the free program you can ‘give away’ to your family or whatever. But they were blank.

It says to hit F5, which I did, which showed me blank spaces again! So I went to my email account. There was a welcome email form Jason Potash, “Thank you for ordering Rewrite Rocket.” And that was it. No password inside:(

So I checked my SPAM folder and there was another email, but from JoltSupport, “Welcome to Rewrite Rocket.” This email had my usernames and passwords in it. So check your SPAM folder!

I finally got around to setting this up two or three days later on March 23rd, 2011. It was very easy to set up and the navigation was easy to figure out. So I went ahead and put it to the test on a simple article. Wow, was I disappointed! It says 56% unique. Bullshit. Here are the two articles. I have not changed a thing. You tell me, are they different?

This is the original article and the ‘spun’ article side by side. The spun article has red in it that is from the Rewrite Rocket. The two different colors are supposed to show the user of Rewrite Rocket what has and hasn’t been spun. Useful if the thing worked. (the red didn’t show up when I transfered the article. Too lazy to do it again, but it shouldn’t be need to illustrate my point.) So here is what I got;

So what exactly causes kidney stones? The short answer here is, no one really knows for sure what causes kidney stones to form. It seems that there are a few different contributing factors that are in one way or another linked to stones, but no one, real smoking gun. Rather, it seems stones are formed when the components of urine fluid and various minerals and acids are out of balance.
So what exactly causes kidney stones? The short answer here is, nobody knows for sure what causes kidney stones to form. It seems that there are a few different contributing factors that are somehow linked to the stone, but no real smoking gun. It seems contrary rocks are formed when parts of the urinary fluid & various minerals & fatty acids are out of balance.

When this happens, the normal flushing of your urinary system is not enough to prevent crystal-forming substances such as calcium, oxalate or uric acid to build up and create crystals that over time grow larger and become kidney stones.

To make matters worse, normal urine has different acids that keep crystals from forming and for some people, these acids can naturally fall out of balance and thus lead to stones.

DNA can also be a trigger. Studies suggest kidney stones may also be biologically handed down to you and therefore people that are genetically stone makers are far more susceptible in having them form. Or getting them in more than one instance.

It is estimated that one out of every ten adults in the USA will form kidney stones. If you have already had a kidney stone, there is a fifty percent higher chance of you getting another stone over someone that has never had one.

In addition, some kidney disorders like cystic kidney diseases, and certain metabolic disorders such as hyperparathyroidism are also linked to stone formation.
Cystinuria and hyperoxaluria are two other rare and mostly inherited metabolic disorders that usually cause kidney stones to form. With cystinuria, too much of the amino acid cystine is present and doesn’t dissolve in the urine, so crystals made of cystine are formed.

Some other know causes of stones are hyperuricosuria, gout; taking too much vitamin D; urinary tract infections; and blockage of the urinary tract. Certain diuretics, commonly called water pills, and calcium-based antacids may increase the risk of forming kidney stones by increasing the amount of calcium in the urine. Being an adult, not drinking enough water, eating or taking a lot of supplements high in calcium, being obese, eating a diet with high levels of protein and sodium.

Causes of kidney stones can also be directly linked between non hereditary kidney stone cases and diet. A link that is even more obvious in the recent rise in cases of child kidney stones. There is a correlation between the rise of processed foods and the increase in the number of patients being treated for kidney stones. So eat right and exercise.

First off, the original article was 570 words, the new article is only 542. The number of words was consistently 5% less when spun using this program and sometimes as high as 10+%. And some of these ‘words’ aren’t even words!

Secondly, in his video on the home page, he only needed to add the word ‘is’ to a sentence to make it readable. That would be great if it were the case. But what would you need to do with this to make it readable? Cystinuria & hyperoxaluria are 2 other rare & most inherited metabolic disorders that usually cause kidney stones to form. In cystinuria, too much of the amino acid cystine is present & doesn’t dissolve in urine, is made of cystine crystals are formed.

To be honest, I am also a bit disgusted that someone would have the balls to use the ‘&’ symbol for the word ‘and,’ and the ‘#’ symbol for the word ‘number’ and think that makes good spinnable syntax. Are you serious? I’ve gotta wonder, how many times did it take him to create the video on his website? And is it totally staged?

There is even a bar at the top that says “rewrite Engine Throttle’ and has the choices ‘standard’ and ‘aggressive’. I even chose the aggressive to see if it could help, still the same article even though the program was saying 56.52% unique. What a scam. Seriously. Too bad. I so much wanted this to be like it was on the video.

On a side note, one suggestion that I have for someone thinking of building a great spinner. Get the program to vary paragraph lengths as well. If all of the articles I am spinning have 5 sentences per paragraph and five paragraphs each, there may be a huge footprint there.

I asked for a prompt refund of my money. This is the ‘ticket’ I sent through the Jolt ticketing system. Hopefully all goes well and I get my money back. Too bad, I really had high hopes for this software. If you know of something better, let me know! I need a great spinner.

Dear Sir,

I have tried your software and to be honest, I am not at all happy with it. I would like a refund, please. I am unsure as to where I should ask. If this is not the correct place, can you please direct me to where i need to go.

Thank you,
William Allen

And this is the standard reply I received back form them letting me know they received the ticket;

William Allen,
Your Ticket has been received and a member of our staff will review it and reply accordingly. Listed below are details of this Ticket. Please make sure the Ticket ID remains in the subject at all times.

Jolt Support

So now I’ll just wait and see if there ’60 day refund’ policy is legit.

3/24/2011 – Okay, I received my refund the next day. So I guess that is all there is to say. I was so hopeful that this program would work the way it was described. But simply, it doesn’t. There’s just no sizzle:(

Do you use this program and think I am off the mark on this one? Or you have Rewrite Rocket and you think it is crap as well? Or do you have some great alternative article spinning program you know about? Please, share it with the rest of us and comment below. Thanks!

365 steps, 15 case studies, one new emperor…or maybe not!

I received the standard welcome email from Chris on 4/8/2010 after signing up for his initial launch of Empire Building Kit, an affiliate marketing product. His Empire Building kit was a great idea. Give everyone one mini-lesson each day of the year for a total of one year or 365 lessons for the price of $250 US dollars.

Actually, I should be a bit clearer on the pricing. There are really 3 different packages you can choose from.

Emperor-in-Training - $149

Hail Caesar – $249

Alexander the Great – $449

And like I stated, the concept is great. I really wish I would have thought of it first! Because I’d love to do something like this. But something a lot more useful.

To cut to the chase a little bit, I’ll tell you now that I do NOT recommend this product at all. I like Chris, he seems like a really good guy. He’s done some great things with his life and I love his blog, The art of nonconformity. If you read his blog, he gives great travel tips as that is what he is doing with 90% of his time. And in my view, that is what he should be focusing on. Talking to the traveler, not teaching would-be entrepreneurs.

I am not really sure why he feels he can help someone build a business? From what I can see, he has done well with the launch and all of this “Empire Kit” stuff. But the truth of the matter is that it has absolutely nothing informative or so compelling that you can’t easily find on the internet for free somewhere else. And presented better as well.

First off, the kit really doesn’t even include 365 days of tips. Sunday is a recap with no new information at all. Now that may not seem like much to you, but that is 1/7 of your “information” gone. But you paid for it. It’s the equivalent of 14% or close to $35 dollars you paid to tell you what you learned for the week.

Then there are a ton of emails that just mention different things but lack any real instruction, information or ‘energy’. I could see if the posts were at least motivational, but they’re not. They feel ‘thin’ to me. And there seems to be no real direction or blueprint. No reason why one email follows the next.

I will post one random email in the hopes Chris won’t sue me. If he asks me to take it down, I will.

Hi William,

I hope you’ve been enjoying the Q&A over the past two weeks.
I received a ton of questions, so I’ll throw in at least one more
week later. For now, though, let’s move on and look at a few
different business ideas.
First stop, what about starting a stationery (not stationary) biz?
I was talking with someone the other day about a line of notecards
she was thinking of making. “It sounds like a fun idea,” she said,
“but I’m not sure if it would really be a profitable endeavor.”

Funny enough, I said, I have a long-term idea of making cards and
calendars with my design partner @reese as well. And I also said
that I agreed with her assessment completely: it sounds like a fun
idea, but not necessarily a money-maker.

For an income stream, I think it’s better to look for more
profitable projects. It’s very hard to make much money with custom
stationery. Once customers buy it once, they usually don’t need it
again for a long time. The only way to really succeed, at least
from a financial standpoint, is to go to the New York stationery
show, get a distributor, sell to stores, etc. And that’s nice work
if you can get it, but there are a lot easier ways to make money.

But it’s also OK to do things for fun as well, so when the time is
right, I just may put out that line of notecards.

Yours in empire building,

Chris

So what’s the problem? He never tells you anything more on how to find “more profitable projects.” Where to look, when to act, other strategies, nothing. And I don’t remember him saying anything about “easier ways to make money.”

Often he will send 3 or 4 mails out on a subject and just when you think he’ll begin actually teaching something on that subject, he’ll switch to a totally new subject. There just isn’t any teaching.

As an example I remember him sending an email about saying that it was great and that is what he used to send his customers their emails everyday. He mentioned a few things about being able to place content on Aweber and set a time in the future when you want it sent.

I was interested and listening. But that was it. Nothing more. No introduction to the actual product. Not even a screen-shot. No examples of how to use Aweber correctly or why it is better or worse than another product. Never anything about building a list with it. Nothing really useful about it at all. That’s what is so frustrating! I could have done a months worth of emails just on Aweber and just scratch the surface of what you can do with it.

After a few months of the same stuff, he was still writing about things that were just so beginner that it was driving me crazy. So I stopped reading the emails for a few months. I caught up with them recently which is why I decided to write this review now, while I still have a strong taste of it in my mouth. It’s week 40+, so it’s almost done. I believe I can speak about the program in a realistic manner.

Simply put, Chris is a great blogger when he is blogging about what he really knows. He seems honest and sincere as a person. But he is not a business person nor should he be teaching business to others. And charging people for his business advice I think is just plain criminal. I can recommend a ton of other places where even the cheapest $149 would be money much more wisely spent.

He has been asking people in the empire kit to write to him for an emperor spotlight. Not many takers though. I just doubt there are any emperors due to his kit. That’s why no one is writing about their story. Although there are 7 positive reviews on his site at this moment. So maybe take what I am saying with a grain of salt? Nah!

Again, I don’t mean to be flaming anyone. But I also don’t want to see people wasting their money on this either. It is not a good product as of now. Perhaps Chris will improve it in the future. But for now, no thanks.

If there is anyone reading this who has also joined this program and feels I am either spot on or seriously wrong, let us know. I’d love to know how other view this whole thing. Thanks!
